A history in brief As the ability to collect and analyze data increase (and with it the introduction of new complexities,) what are ways in which (graphic) design can be used to help the science field explore or interface with this particular new generation of data in insightful and meaningful ways? How can visual tools or visualizations be created to free the mind for imagination, creativity? From the stand point of a designer, what are the design methodologies to develope to address these new sets of data problems?
